About Us
Queniborough Preschool operates from one large hall, which we carefully lay out into different areas, with specific learning opportunities for different age groups. It is a great space where all children can learn and develop into happy, confident and competent children together in one spacious environment.
Our sessions on Wednesday and Friday afternoons either take place at the Scout Hall, and have an emphasis on physical education (with a quiet area and activities available) or the children are taken on other trips and adventure, which benefit your child’s physical and understanding the world development.
Our Preschool is run by a committee, who are responsible for:
- managing the setting’s finances.
- employing and managing the staff.
- making sure that the setting has, and works to policies that help it to provide a high quality service.
- ensuring that the setting works in partnership with the parents.
We hold an Annual General Meeting in which we invite anyone to attend. The Meeting is open to the parents of all children who attend the setting and members of the local community. It is our shared forum for looking back over the previous year’s activities and shaping the coming year’s plan.
